Honda has not reduced car prices.
  Aug 30, 2023     talha seo

Today began with a social media post claiming that Honda had reduced the Honda Civic and BR-V price. According to the forged notification, the Honda Civic Turbo RS price has been reduced by Rs1, 40,000. Meanwhile, the Honda Civic 1.8L VT SR CVT's price has dropped by Rs120,000. The Civic 1.8L VTI CVT price has been reduced by Rs110, 000, and the price of the BR-V S CVT has been reduced by Rs100,000.

Honda Denied Reports:

And while it was exciting news, it turned out to be a hoax. The notification was rejected by a Honda official while speaking with PakWheels.com. “We have not issued any such notification, and the company will notify PakWheels if such an announcement is made,” he stated. The official went on to say that if a dealership claims that its prices have been reduced,

Honda Atlas will issue a show-cause notice. As a result, prices have not been reduced. However, we believe it is possible.

Expected Perks Under Auto Policy (2021-2026):

According to our sources, the 2.5 percent FED cut will be applied across the board, with tax breaks for hybrid and electric vehicles. Furthermore, the government is said to be lowering the Additional Customs Duty (ACD) on CKD kits imports from 7% to 2%. The government has urged car manufacturers to pass on this benefit to customers. So the ball is now in the companies' court, whether they shift the benefit to consumers and lower prices or not. The passage of time will tell. We hope that as a result of this policy, consumers will be able to purchase cheaper vehicles, especially given that vehicle prices have been steadily rising over the last few years.
