We learned a few weeks ago that the Hyundai Sonata will be available in two trim levels. We also obtained leaked images and made educated guesses about the prices of locally assembled Sonata. It turned out to be pretty close. The following are the official ex-factory prices.
Rs 6,399,000 for a 2000cc Sonata
Rs 7,099,000 for a 2500cc Sonata.
As you can see, the price difference between the two variants is 7 lacs. So, what are the distinguishing characteristics? What makes the 2500cc variant worth the extra 7 lacs?
For the first time, the 2.5L variant features a more powerful engine with 180 horsepower and 232 Nm of torque. The other variant's 2.0L engine produces 152 horsepower and 192 Nm of torque. Here are the remaining add-ons.
The rear window of the 2500cc Sonata will have an automatic retractable shade. Simply press the button, and this shade will screen the back window and keep the sun out of your vehicle.
The Head-Up Display is the next feature available on the upper variant (HUD). This feature allows you to view information as a transparent image on the windshield. What speed you're traveling at, navigation, and other driver safety data. With the touch screen, you can toggle this feature on and off, as well as customize where the display appears and what information appears.
The goal of this feature is to display information at the driver's eye level so that they do not have to look away from the road ahead.
The final feature for the 2500cc Sonata is the number of airbags, which will be six: dual front, dual side, and dual curtain making the vehicle extremely safe for all passengers.
