Is Pak Suzuki Going to Launch a New WagonR Model and Other Cars in Pakistan?

The Suzuki GSX 125, the Pak Suzuki Motor Company's (PSMC) upcoming motorcycle, was among the several vehicles on display. The Wagon R Stingray Hybrid, Hustler, Every, XL-7, and Ertiga, as well as preceding Suzuki Motors vehicles, have attracted the greatest interest at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022). The (Psmc) also made oblique references through experts to the discontinuation of the Suzuki Cultus in order to increase sales of the brand-new Suzuki Swift 2022 model. Later, they may have replaced the WagonR with the Japanese Variant Stingray in order to satisfy consumer demands and needs, which could be the model's next big hit.

The current Model is now officially 8 Years old in Pakistan and internationally discontinued. With a price tag of between PKR 2.55 million and PKR 2.95 million, Pakistan is the only nation remaining in the world still assembling this generation. Customers of Suzuki are still able to purchase manual rear windows. At this price point, the WagonR has stiff competition from the Kia Picanto, United Alpha, and Prince Pearl.

Suzuki could release a fresh model soon to stay in the competition. Suzuki also displayed other vehicles at the 2022 Pakistan Auto Show. Earlier, Suzuki WagonR had some rivalry with the 1.3-liter Faw V2, which was also Suzuki Swift's rival from the previous generation.

The industry's premier trade fair for Pakistan's swiftly expanding automotive aftermarket is the Pakistan Auto Show 2022. It was established to provide the country's automotive industry with a platform on which to showcase its potential and skills to the rest of the globe. For a three-day event, the whole auto engineering industry gathered under one roof where they showcased their best products and teased some of their future goals.

While displaying the most modern technology, services, and automotive industry solutions, the expo presents tremendous opportunities for leading brands and automotive accessories.

It was interesting to note that even though attendees were visiting nearly every brand display, the car enthusiasts seemed to swarm the Suzuki booth and were especially excited by its futuristic lineup. With a display of cutting-edge vehicles from both its worldwide and Japanese product lines, Suzuki unquestionably exceeded expectations.

Pak Suzuki Motor Company automobiles (PSMC)

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) displayed a number of vehicles at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2022), including their next motorcycle, the Suzuki GSX 125. The Wagon R Stingray Hybrid, Every, XL-7, and Ertiga have attracted the greatest interest, nevertheless.

With so many cutting-edge automobiles in attendance at the event, it is clear that Suzuki has plans for the future that goes beyond just adopting a modern strategy and working to push the limits of currently available automobile types. This change in the key participant's tone might change how people view Pakistani driving.

Additionally, it is clear that Suzuki is preparing a huge future line-up, and their objective is broad, satisfying all the needs of a modern car client.

The crowd was kept on their toes by the event's daily showcase of newer models.

Suzuki WagonR has been sold in Pakistan for eight years. It was introduced there in April 2014 and quickly became popular, with sales of all three of its variants (Vx, Vxr, and Vxl) exceeding expectations and possessing six bodily hues. The Wagon R is powered by a 998 cc, three-cylinder, Euro 2-compliant K10B engine that produces 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. At 6,200 rpm, it has 67 horsepower. With its boxy shape and 5-speed manual gearbox, the new Suzuki Wagon R 2022 demonstrates the well-known Suzuki design language. A trapezoid-shaped grille with chrome accents is set in front of a pair of large side-swept, multi-reflector Halogen headlights.

The trapezoidal curve of the air inlet gives the design more character. Two traditional circular fog lights connect to the headlights. A classic case hatchback with side-swept, vertically stacked taillights is present at the back. The rearview mirror is highlighted with a useful roof spoiler. The tailgate may be opened with a key or remote control for convenience. Later, Vx was withdrawn in late 2016, thus the Pak Suzuki Motor Company added an AGS variant to the WagonR range after 4 years (PSMC). In January 2020, the VXL version received a driver-side airbag and an AGS (Automated Gear shift) automated-manual transmission.

The seat upholstery of the Suzuki Wagon R VXL is black, whereas that on the VXR is beige. The power steering wheel of the VXL variant has three spokes, is urethane-covered, and has silver trim. Ventilation mode control and air induction change control are available for the manual Wagon R heater and air conditioner.

The front cabin light, driver and passenger sun visors, assist grips, cup and bottle holders, and storage pockets are all included as standard equipment. The Suzuki Wagon R has an immobilizer and keyless entry for increased security. It also has a key and a warning for the light to turn off.

Power windows, central door locking, a security alarm, remote control door locks, turn-over type outside door mirrors, an under-seat tray, and a tachometer are further features of the VXL. A 2-speaker stereo audio system with a CD, AUX, and USB connection is provided with both variants. Other common characteristics are front window defrosters, rear window defrosters, and side defrosters.
