Honda BR-V N7X Edition 2024 Introduced in Indonesia

Currently taking place during the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), Honda introduced the new BR-V N7X Edition. The N7X, which stands for "New 7-Seater eXcitement," is a vehicle that has several visual upgrades that draw inspiration from the idea behind the introduction of the second-generation three-row 7-seater nearly three years ago.

The N7X Edition is available in three different configurations: the base model, the E CVT, costs 319.4 million rupiah (PKR 56.99 lac), while the highest model, the Prestige with Honda Sensing, costs 363.4 million rupiah (PKR 64.85 lac).

The BR-V N7X Edition comes with an aero package that includes side skirts and front and rear under spoilers, as well as a new dark chrome front grille with a variant-specific symbol (available exclusively on Prestige models). Additionally completed in black are the rear spoiler, door mirrors, door handles, shark fin antenna, and 17-inch wheels.

Apart from the updated exterior parts, the N7X Edition has a unique Sand Khaki Pearl paint job. Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, and Premium Opal White Pearl are additional color possibilities.

With the exception of the aesthetic changes, the N7X Edition is almost exactly the same as the regular BR-V lineup. The 1.5L i-VTEC four-cylinder DOHC engine under the hood continues to produce 121 PS at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a CVT transmission.

The BR-V comes standard with LED headlights, although the top-spec model is the only one with an automated on/off feature. Additionally, only the Prestige with Honda Sensing is equipped with driver assistance features including adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane centering aid, LaneWatch, autonomous emergency braking, and front departure alarm.

The E CVT version has cloth upholstery, four airbags, a reverse camera, automatic air conditioning, a 4.2-inch multi-info display, keyless entry and start, remote engine start, and automatic air conditioning. Leather upholstery, two extra airbags (bringing the total to six), and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob are added to the list of standard features starting with the Prestige.

Due to either low sales or its advanced age, the previous version of Honda BR-V has been withdrawn in the majority of markets. Remember that the first-generation BR-V debuted in 2016 and is still available for purchase in Pakistan despite low sales. It's unclear how long Honda will continue to sell the outmoded BR-V in Pakistan, but if they want to stick with the seven-seater, they really ought to think about bringing the second generation vehicle here right now.
